We strive each year to expand polo interest in Monaco, and are proud of the upcoming year’s exciting new developments.
THE POLO CLUB HOUSE
Imagine yourself in a tastefully well-appointed haven with sweeping panoramic views of the Rocher and onto the sea. Imagine having a second home located in the heart of the Principality and dedicated to socializing, relaxing, and basking in the aura of a sport destined for kings.
Such dreams will come true this year with the opening of our own Club House located within the famed Carré d’Or and overlooking the Port of Monaco. Prepare to see the birth of a sophisticatedly laid-back club, designed in the warm spirit of Polo camaraderie.
With its myriad of lounge and work areas as well as its top-end gastronomy restaurant, the Polo Club’s space will be able to be enjoyed in endless fashion: with friends, as an opportunity to socialize with fellow players, or even one to savour cultural experiences– from international wine tastings to themed gatherings, presentations, and exclusive product launches.
Memberships requests are possible, and can be made at info@montecarlopoloclub.mc
The Club House along with its exclusive benefits will be reserved for Members’ usage, but Polo Members and players from a recognized Association will be welcomed with open arms.
THE MONTE-CARLO POLO MAGAZINE
We are also launching our very own Monte-Carlo Polo Magazine. A fresh and vibrant print addition with the aim of offering not just Polo statistics but living, breathing Polo lifestyle from Monaco and around the globe. Expect a tastefully curated selection of travel, gastronomy and Polo science, as well as stimulating thought pieces, interviews with some of the biggest and rising stars, and sneak-peaks into breathtaking Polo opportunities.
The magazine is under the responsibility of Editor-In-Chief Fiona McFarlane. Any enquiries, proposals, and advertisement requests are welcome and should be submitted to fiona@montecarlopoloclub.mc
CHANGE OF HANDS ON OUR POLO FIELDS
The Monte Carlo Polo Club will be the most international Club on the Polo circuit. We welcome this challenge, and have taken the opportunity to set up a new ‘Tournaments Only’ polo field located just a minutes away from Monaco.
Our Monte-Carlo Polo Cup 2015 will be held there, and the field from thereon after will be available for professional polo practice and matches.
THE RIDING SCHOOL
We are additionally choosing 2015 as the year to open the doors to our Riding School, which shall give those residing in and around Monaco the opportunity to learn our sport and practice regularly.
The School will offer: classes for all ages, opportunities for stabling, and hippotherapy with a certified instructor. A philanthropic program will also be set in place to offer free lessons to children who would otherwise be unable to afford the experience.
The facilities include approximately thirty horses, stables, and a 110 x 90 outdoor paddock perfect for beginners, intermediates, and stick & ball practice.
The Monte Carlo Polo Club Team warmly wishes you a happy fin d’année, and hopes to see you in the new one.
